For more than 40 years, PLMA’s U.S. Trade Show has been the private label industry event of the year with supermarkets, drug chains, mass merchandisers, wholesalers, importers, exporters and even the military participating. As the marketplace has evolved, the show now also attracts buyers from online retailers and specialty chains.
The key to the show’s success has been the quality of the buyers who attend. In many cases, the visitors are directors of private label merchandising, marketing or procurement who can make important decisions. Over the last decade, the show has also become increasingly popular among retailers from Latin America, who come to Chicago to source for their expanding private label programmes.
